Resources in the Library
Non-Fiction is divided into Reference, Local and normal Non-Fiction stock. Each of these sections is arranged in the same way: a numerical sequence from 000 – 999. Books are allocated a number according to their subject and then shelved in numerical order. This is the Dewey Decimal System. The number is clearly marked on the spine of each book. To find out the number for the subject you require, check in the Subject Index (found on the Library Counter).
