Items available to borrow from the library include:
Thousands of Fiction titles suitable for a wide range of ability levels and interests. We have Quick Reads, Teen Fiction, Modern Adult Fiction, Classics, Graphic Novels, Manga, Audiobooks and DVDs.
Thousands of Non-Fiction titles which are used for investigations and research by pupils and staff from all departments
as well as supporting pupils’ recreational interests.
DIGITAL RESOURCES
Clickview
A curated library of videos mapped to the Secondary Curriculum used by teachers for lessons and pupils for homework. Teachers have access to the last 2 weeks of TV programmes including a number of European channels.
Access through Glow- search for the tile and add it to your launchpad.
Pressreader
An online News source for Secondary schools that can be accessed at home or in school. 'The Day' is updated every day with topical news stories and features. Subscribe to a daily email of news to stay on top of current events!

An interactive resource containing articles, infographics and information on hundreds of important topics. Teachers use Issues Online to help them discuss topics in the classroom. Pupils use Issues Online to conduct their own research and think critically about sources and information.

All pupils are automatically members of 'Aberdeenshire Libraries' and can login and borrow from a huge range of titles and formats. If you don't know your login details, just ask in the library or email Mr Henderson.. Don't forget, when reserving an item, to select 'Banff Academy' as the 'collection point'.
